FOr Lansing School Board
DEAR NEIGHBOR,
Lansing raised me. I attended Lansing Schools all my life, graduated from Lansing Eastern, and continued my education as a Lansing Promise Scholar. Now I’m running for School Board because I want to give back to the community that gave me so much.
I believe every student deserves a safe school, a high-quality education, and a path forward after graduation. I also believe board members should show up, listen, and stay connected to the people they serve.
I would be honored to earn your support.
In service,
Ramiro Garcia
MY PRiorities
Safe Schools. Quality Education. Preparing Students.
These three priorities are in order intentionally. They are not separate policy areas; but rather a sequence.
A student who does not feel physically or emotionally safe is going to have a harder time learning. A student who does not receive a strong education will have fewer options after graduation. And preparing students for adulthood requires more than handing them a diploma. It requires making sure they have the skills, support, information, and relationships necessary to take the next steps.
